Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data NexaCuts ("we") collects through nexacuts.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to contact@nexacuts.com.

What we collect

• Project enquiries. When you send the project form or leave your details with the site assistant: your name, email, company, website, the service, budget, timeline and message you enter, the page you sent it from, and a one-way hash of your IP address (used only to stop spam; we can't turn it back into your IP).
• Assistant questions. The question you type into the site assistant, the page you asked it on and whether you found the answer helpful. We don't link questions to your identity unless you choose to leave your details.
• Reviews. If we send you a review link and you submit it: your quote, name, role, company and your permission choice.
• Analytics (only if you accept). If you click “Accept” on the cookie banner we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to reply to you and quote your project (steps taken at your request before a contract). We use assistant questions to improve the site's answers, and spam-protection data to keep the forms working (legitimate interests). We publish reviews only with your explicit permission. Analytics runs only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives it

Our website, database and email are hosted by Hostinger. Analytics data, if you accept, is processed by Google. Videos embedded from YouTube load in privacy-enhanced mode and only contact YouTube when you press play. We don't sell personal data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted, unless we work together, in which case we keep project records as long as needed for the work and our legal obligations. Published reviews stay up until you ask us to remove them.

Cookies

The site sets two strictly necessary cookies (a session cookie and a security token for forms). With your consent, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_*). Your banner choice is stored in your browser so we don't ask again. You can change it any time: cookie settings.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU or EEA you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive a copy of it. Email contact@nexacuts.com and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
